Amy Crawford - Director

Amy Crawford graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration concentrating in Marketing and International Business. She also holds an MBA from Kent State. She worked for eight years as a product manager in the medical field and spent two years in outside sales covering a four state territory.

In 1993, she founded The Business Works, a company specializing in promotional products for businesses and organizations. She works with a number of large corporations and hospitals throughout the country as well as non-profits, small businesses and schools.

Amy has been a member of the Garrettsville-Hiram Rotary Club since 1994 and is active in her church and community. She resides in Garrettsville, Ohio with her husband John, and 10 year old son, Christian.

Merril T. Dayton - Director

Merril T. Dayton, M.D., is Professor of Surgery & Chairman of the Department of Surgery, SUNY at Buffalo and Chief of Surgery for Kaleida Health Systems, which includes Buffalo General Hospital, Millard Fillmore-Gates Hospital, Millard Fillmore-Suburban Hospital, DeGraff Hospital, and Women's & Children's Hospital. He is a general surgeon who specializes in gastrointestinal surgery. In addition, because of the high volume of surgery he has done in colorectal disease, he also treats patients with colorectal cancers when sphincter-sparing surgery is required. He also performs complex gastric and pancreaticobiliary surgery. As an academic surgeon, he is committed to teaching medical students, interns and residents the art of surgery. As a result, he was awarded the 2000 Master Educator Award by the Association for Surgical Education. In the past, he has been awarded Teacher of the Year and Outstanding Professor and Teacher multiple times by both the University of Iowa College of Medicine and the University of Utah School of Medicine.

Dr. Dayton is a member of the American Surgical Association, Society of University Surgeons, Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract, The Longmire Society, and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Dayton resides in the Buffalo, New York area. He and his late wife, Susan, are the parents of five sons and grandparents of two.

A. John (Jack) Gabig -- Director

Mr. Gabig attended Gettysburg College at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and received his jurist doctorate degree from Dickinson Law School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Virginia Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia and before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Tax Court.

From 1997 - 2002 Mr. Gabig served on the Board of Directors of the Hershey Trust Company with assets of $7 billion including controlling interest in Hershey Foods Company. Mr. Gabig served as Chairman of the Hershey Trust Company and The Board of Managers of the Hershey Schools in 2001 - 2002. In 1995 Mr. Gabig was honored as Alumnus of the Year at the Milton Hershey Schools. Since retirement, Mr. Gabig has been very involved in a number of charitable organizations and is proud to be an honorary alumnus of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Gabig and his wife, Dorothy, reside in Williamsburg and they are the parents of two daughters and grandparents of six.

Vibert L. Kesler-Director, Chairman of the Board, and Executive Director

Mr. Kesler started his career with the Internal Revenue Service in Washington D.C. in 1960. After receiving his Juris Doctorate from George Washington University School of Law, Mr. Kesler entered private practice of law from 1965 to 1992. He specialized in tax, organizational and international law. He is the author of a book on estate planning and has written numerous articles on tax and international law.

After retiring from the practice of law, Mr. Kesler organized International Family Business Council providing succession consulting services to family-owned businesses. He remains an active member of the Utah Bar Association, the American Bar Association and is a past member of the International Bar Association. He served in leadership positions of all three Bar Associations including being an officer and director in the International Bar Association.

Mr. Kesler is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served on active duty with the 226th Military Intelligence Detachment. He and his wife, Marilyn, reside in Cottonwood, Utah. They are the parents of 8 children and grandparents of 24.

Bryan K. Searing -- Director

Mr. Searing is currently a consultant with Stone Mantel, Colorado Springs, Colorado. (www.GOstonemantel.com) Stone Mantel is an insights-based marketing consultancy that helps organizations develop customer experiences, brand strategies, and product and service innovations. Clients include Royal Caribbean International, Wells Fargo / Wachovia, Deluxe Corporation, the US Olympic Committee and others.

Prior professional/business experience in Colorado Springs includes positions of Marketing Director for Skyline Products, Senior Product Marketing Manager for TellSoft, Inc., an Internet company specializing in streaming media services for businesses and consumers, Director of Product Marketing USA Net Inc., an Internet company specializing in Web-based email products, and Strategic Marketing Manager for PaperDirect, Inc., a direct marketer of premium pre-designed business communications papers.

Before moving to Colorado Springs, Bryan was the Advertising Manager for PC Connection, Inc. in Keene, New Hampshire, Sales and Marketing Manager for Microspot USA, Inc. in Saratoga, California, and International Sales Representative of ComputerWare, Inc. in Palo Alto, California. Mr. Searing and his wife Lorraine reside in Colorado Springs with their three children.

Craig N. Thatcher

Mr. Thatcher is President of Thatcher Chemical Company, which traces its roots back to 1923. The company now has 8 locations in the United States with customers throughout the U.S. and in some foreign countries.

An MBA graduate from Northwestern University in 1976, he met his future wife, Connie, just prior to graduation. They are the proud parents of 3 daughters, a son, and six grandchildren. Mr. Thatcher feels the chemistry industry is a key part of our society. Everything, in some way, depends on chemicals. Thatcher Company is a key supplier to a number of industries such as water treatment, power generation, mining, and food and dairy cleaning and sanitation. Mr. Thatcher notes that Earnest Hemmingway described life in Paris after World War I as a "moveable feast." He sees his life as a moveable feast to be experienced and enjoyed. "My goals in life are to constantly improve myself and help others who are less fortunate than me. I have been very blessed to be working with the World Peace Parents Foundation to strengthen families through improved parenting."

SueEllen Cummings -- Secretary

Mrs. Cummings is a stay at home mother to four children. She resides with her husband Matthew in Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to rearing a family, Mrs. Cummings worked for AT&T Wireless as a marketing representative. She has a Bachelors degree in Sociology.
